Bodylines Policies

When you arrive

Please ring the doorbell and you will be greeted by me in due course. Bodylines requires clients to arrive on time for their appointment. Treatment times will not be extended and refunds/price adjustments are not issued for late arrival. If necessary, only the most important part of the treatment will be carried out. Arriving more than 10 minutes late will result in immediate cancellation of the appointment and the full amount will be chargeable. This will be invoiced to the email address and mobile number provided by the client at the time of booking.

 

Parking

There is free parking along Holly Bush Lane (the one way street before the junction at the end), as well as the surrounding streets. Some areas have a two hour restriction, some are unrestricted. There is also one parking space outside the salon suitable for a small/medium car. Please park within the boundary of the salon lengthwise, as that is the part belonging to Bodylines.

 

Lateness policy

If you are running late please text the salon your expected arrival time as soon as possible. Depending on the length of the service booked, the treatment time will be shortened. If you are more than 15 minutes late your appointment will be cancelled and 100% of the treatment charge will be applied.

 

Change of mind

Bodylines will not issue price adjustments/refunds for a client’s change of mind. The client must pay the full amount for the treatment/s booked.

 

Complaints policy

If you have any issues with your service, please contact Bodylines as soon as possible so that it can be put right if appropriate. If you go to another salon, tamper with the treatment (for example but not limited to, a piercing, waxing, eyebrow shape), without first attending Bodylines to seek a resolution, you will be void of any further attempt at resolution.

 

Children and guests

Children and guests cannot be accommodated at Bodylines (unless accompanying a child for piercing). The salon is not a large space and is unsafe for children, with chemicals, tools and equipment being used that are both expensive and dangerous when not in professional hands.

 

Right to refuse service

Bodylines reserves the right to refuse service at any time for any reason.

 

Booking terms

A 50% deposit is required to secure your appointment.

 

Cancellations and rescheduling

The time booked for the client is for the client’s exclusive use. When appointments are missed, or cancelled without sufficient notice, Bodylines is often unable to fill the space. Clients should give at least 48 hours’ notice of cancellation/rescheduling to avoid incurring any cancellation fees. Clients should cancel using Bodylines’ booking site. Links to cancel are at the bottom of every booking email sent by Bodylines Beauty Salon.

If a client cancels or reschedules with 24-48 hours’ notice, 50% of the treatment cost will be chargeable. If the client cancels with fewer than 24 hours’ notice, the full cost of the treatment will be charged. An invoice will be sent to the client’s email and mobile phone number provided at the time of booking. Failure to pay will result in the debt being passed to a debt collection agency.

 

Inclusivity

​Bodylines welcomes and respects all genders, non-binary and gender non-conforming people. Bodylines has a gender neutral bathroom. Bodylines will not tolerate hateful behaviour. Compassion and kindness are practised in the salon.
